Adult Baptism

If you have never been baptized before and would like to be, you will need to complete the church membership process at New City Church first. Be sure to discuss your desire with an elder/pastor at your membership interview. This will allow you to be scheduled for baptism on the day you take your membership vows in front of the congregation at a Sunday worship service.

Infant and Child Baptism

1. Please read our overview of New City's position on infant baptism. New City will baptize infants of church members.

2. If you are already a member, you can register your child for baptism at any of our baptism services. 

3. If you are a new member parent and have not taken your membership vows yet, please contact Pastor Matt: matt@newcitykc.org for help in scheduling your vows (and baptism if applicable) and your infant’s baptism.

Older Children

New City will baptize your older child after he or she has made a made a profession of faith. An elder/pastor will meet with your child for a baptism class before they are baptized on a Sunday. Contact Pastor Matt: matt@newcitykc.org for more information.
